Settle into Viv's Coffee after dark for a cosy, festive evening of making. With gentle guidance, you'll shape your own handbuilt piece to take home once it's been fired — no experience needed, just bring your hands and your holiday spirit.

About Lepere Ceramics
Lepere Ceramics is a small, hands-on pottery practice run by Lydia Lepere.
Alongside making and selling her own ceramics, she runs workshops and pottery courses for both children and adults, and has recently hosted sessions with restaurants across central London.
Now she's bringing the clay closer to home, partnering with local favourites — starting with this festive evening at Viv's.

The Finer Details
All materials are included — clay, tools, glaze, place mats, sponges and more. Here's what happens from first pinch to finished pot.

The workshop
A 1.5 hour session learning several handbuilding techniques and creating your own unique piece of pottery.
- 02
Drying
Your piece goes back to the Lepere studio to dry slowly over several weeks.
- 03
Bisque firing
Fired in the kiln to 1,000°C, a process that takes several days.
- 04
Glazing
Each piece is glazed individually by hand in a clear glaze.
- 05
Glaze firing
A second firing to 1,240°C sets the glaze over several more days.
- 06
Collection
Finished pots return to Viv's Coffee for you to collect — around 8 weeks later, hopefully sooner.
